Lastest Things I have Been Upto

Im sure you all would like to know what things i have been up to recently.
Well this week i have been busy once again i have been installing a updated prize page to my site and have done a new design also looks really cool i think, i`m getting rather good at this designing lol. Also designed a new splash page but have not had the time to install that yet but hopefully should be this week. I am also going to be updating my verification page this week to have a better bonus on it so that should be fun lol. Need to catch up on my surfing thou as it has dropped since the kids have been off school for summer holidays but they go back in September woo hoo cant wait lol. And i have been writing up a few blogs and touching base with some of my members, i downloaded a feedreader for my site last night so i will have to install that soon aswell, i also downloaded php 4 so i can soon start learning more about php scripting then hopefully i will be able to do most things on my site. And thats about it so far but im sure i will be able to tell you how things are going soon enough.

The best way to look at this is by thinking of your website as one of your team, a dedicated member of staff or even your business partner. You’re working together and aiming for the same goal. Your website is working extremely hard for you by racing around the internet and making sure that anyone looking for products or services like yours knows about you!

Your website is responsible for marketing your business, bringing potential customers to your door and showing them what you do and why they should be your customer! So your website needs all the latest information about your business.

Make sure that your website has all the information it needs to answer people’s questions and encourage a positive response. There is also another way to encourage maximum response from potential customers and visitors to your website.

Newsletters keep you touch with existing and potential customers. When customers sign up to receive a newsletter, they are inviting you to keep them informed about new products, services, special offers and special events etc! By requesting your newsletter, they have also eliminated any Spam restrictions or barriers, which means you can contact them by email whenever you like! Keeping in touch with customers like this will make sure they think of YOU the next time they need the kind of products or services you offer.

Keep Newsletters Short and Punchy and always include a link direct to your website. The link could take people to your home page or a particular page promoting your special offer or even a particular product or group of products within your shopping basket.

Alternatively, you could produce your newsletter on a page within your website and simply email your customers a link to that page with a short, catchy teaser inviting them to “click here to find out more about our amazing news!”

My newest trails and errors

Well this last few weeks i decided that in order to go further with building and designing websites i would have to learn more than i knew already. So i decided that first i would learn about html and how to use it so i could change things on my site like colours and headings and generally make my pages better looking and to do it all myself.Now i looked on the internet and found some very interesting sites that can help you , if you are planning to learn html then you need to take a look at this site and the best thing is that it is free and very helpfull. http://www.w3schools.com
They do a huge amount of programming information that can help you learn the basic`s of html and css and php and sql also javascript and much more , it was like being back in school lol. Now dont get me wrong it took quite a bit of time learning this bit by bit when i had the time and trust me i dont get that much free time.But after trying different things out i soon got the hang of the basics of html.

My next project is to lean all about php programming so i can add more interesting things to my traffic exchange without having to pay a programmer to do it for me.So far i have learnt a little php but will keep you informed of how i get on in this project as i imagine it will take a little longer to understand php programming properly.But first i will show you how easy html is to learn and what it can do, take a quick look at my site ,you can of course bookmark my site while you are there :) here is the link

Now the Front cover was done like that all with basic knowledge of html and straight away my front page is transformed into a eye catch site which is what we all want to have.And one thing you will need to know is how to add backlinks to your site as this is very important for the rankings on google and yahoo.I tend to have a page just dedicated to backlinks and work hard to try and get as many as i can , there are sites out there that exchange backlinks for free. Now to add a back link into the page the best way to do this is to use html code like the one below and it will change it just to show as Vist Free Traffic Shop Today but if you then mouse over the link it will show the site and one click and you are straight at that site clever huh.Try it out and try and perfect it or if you think that your cant remember it open up your note book and set up a file and call it html codes and copy it so you can always double check.
